to wit - Mary Brown< no role > This name instance is in set 38073807. aged 17 Years or
thereabouts upon her Oath saith that she
never was married And or ther Voluntary
Oath saith that on the 9th Day of Janry
Instant she was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child in the Workhouse of the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
which has since been Child by the Name of
John Brown< no role > and further saith that she is unable
to maintain the said Child, and that Mr
Lewis (where Christian Name this Examinant
does not know) Son to Mr Lewis who keeps
Silversmiths and Comb Shop in Saint Pauls Church
Yard, is the real and true father of the said Child
he having at several times had Casual [..]
of this Examinants Body and together the same
thereon
