Informations of Witnesses taken on
21st. July 1769 at the Dwelling House

Red Levin Tap in Cockspur Street in the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields on view of the Body of James Stacey< no role >
then and there lying dead.

being sworn, smith, that he has known the Deces abt
6 or 7 Yr. he was a very so he [..] pular man
the Deced rent [..] him on Mondon Cart he was
then in bed & complained of a Giddiness in the
Hend & bowness of thirty he appeared ne [..]
Cow & pale & porke very little he cent for
thisDecedDept to drive for him He thanked him
on Tuesday Monring & caud he could John
own Business he then appeared very low
he had never known him he have been
enbarralled in the Circumstances the told
Wm Dept abt. 3 Weeks ago that he was [..]
a very pappy life & was very comfortable He
has formely at times been attacked with
severe Illness & Fever He Cost his Child
about 3some weeks & was much affected by the
Qap Wm Dept. is of expension that the
[..] State in much he says him
As need him to that State of Mind that
he was not In his Senses at the teene
he hung himself.
