Informations taken this Thirty
-first day of May 1790 at the Parish
of St. James within the Liberty of
Westmr. in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of Margaret Ball< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty & County

I am Buffery one of the Nurses at St. J [..]
Infirmary in Poland Street the Parish of
St. James Westmr . on her Oath saith That she
was at the Ward Number four in said Inf [..]
last Night a little before Nine o'Clock when
she heard somebody fall very h [..] down
the Stairs upon which Dept. went out and
found the Deced at the bottom of the Stairs
unable to speak or to move herself, Says
that she called some People there who lifted
up the Deced's Head, when she Rattled in
the Throat but could not speak, and Dept.
is informed that she never spoke
afterwards, Says that the died between
Eleven and Twelve o Clock last Night and
that she died in consequence of the [..] hurt
She reced by falling down Stairs and that
the fall was Accidental.
