Verdict of the Jury touching the Death of Henry
Newell

That some Person or Persons unknown on the 4th, day of
August 1788, with certain Sticks or Bludgeons did give
unto Henry Newell< no role > in the Parish of Saint Paul Covent
Garden within the Liberty of Westminster , Mortal Wounds
in and upon the Head of the said Henry Newell< no role > of which
he languished in Saint Georges' Hospital in the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square within the said Liberty of
Westminster , until the 30th, day of the same Month, and
then Died. And that the said Person or Persons unknown
him the said Henry Newell< no role > Feloniously Wilfully and
of Malice aforethought did Kill and Murder against the
Peace of our Lord the King his Crown and Dignity.
