Informations taken this Twentieth
day of August 1787 at the Parish of
St. Martin in the Fields within the
LIberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Thomas Guilling< no role > lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County

William Parry< no role > Son of Mrs. Richards [..] at the
Sign of the White House in Hangerford Market
Victualter on his Oath saith that Thomas
Guilling the Deced lodged at Mrs. Parry, and
that Deced & this Dept. come from Lodge
together Yesterday Morning about Seven
o'Clock in order to Bath in the River
Thamas at Mr. Woods that the bottom
of Northumberland Street in the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields Says that
Deced stripped and first went into the
River and Dept. saw him watching his
face andHands, Says that he put one
of Mr. Wards Barges in, and looking rough
he missed the Deced, afterwards took off
his Cloaths and went into the River, to took
for the Deced, Says that the Drag way male
cause of, and the Deced found was hang by Adam Richardson< no role > and f [..]
to the Shore in the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields appearing to be dead
That Mr. Bennet the Surgeon was fetched
who for along time used. The Means to
recover the Deced, but without effect
and Dept. believes that the Deced was
Accidentally Drowned.
