in the Parish of St. Margaret in
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquire Iron
touching the death of Charles Price< no role >
a Prisoner lying deced in the said
Prison

John Acton< no role > of Swithin Lane London
Sollicitor to the Bank of England on his
Oath saith That there have been divers
Forgeries committed upon the Bank of England , That
Charles Price< no role > the Deced was suspected to be
the Person who had Committed them, and
Dept. thinks that he had sufficient Evidence
to [..] Support the Charge
made against him, and Dept. on Monday
Night last the Twenty third Instant ordered
Notice to be given by Sir Sampson Wright< no role >
to the Deced to appear before him this
Morning, and Dept. was prepared with
Witnesses to prove the Charge when he
was Informed from the Governor of
Tothill Fields Bridewell that the Deced
was dead.

Alice Barnce< no role > Servant to Mr. Fenwick Governor
of Tothill Fields Bridewell on her Oath
saith That Charles Price< no role > the Deced was brought
Prisoner to Tothill Fields Bridewell on Sunday
Morning the fifteenth Instant between twelve
and One o'Clock, for Forgery as Dept. was
informed says that Deced slept in the
parlour adjourning to the Governor's Kitchen
in said Prison, Says that about half hour
past
