Informations taken this fourteenth
day of January 1786 at the Parish
of St. Margaret within the Liberty of
Westmr . in the County of Midsex upon
an Inquisition touching the death
of George Harris< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty and County

George Hales< no role > of Tattenham Court Road in the
Parish of St. Pancras in the County of Midsex
on his Oath saith That on Tuesday last the
Tenth Instant He this Deponent was sent by
Sr George Barker< no role > to attend and take care of
Mr. George Harris< no role > the Deced who was in
a very low Way, Says that he came, that day
to Mr. Harris who Lodged at Mr. Jane Wolley< no role > 's
in Parliament Street in the Parish of Sr.
Margaret Westmr . Says that the Deced was
very low Spirited, but did not attempt then
to make away with himself, Says that
he has attended several People Disordered
in their Mind and had then a strant Was treat
to confine the Deced, but Deced's Sister desired
Dept. to be tender of him, and Dept. did not
put it on, Says that on Thursday Night last
Deced was in Bed, and appeared to be assleep
That about ten Minutes after Dept. sat down
in an Easy Chair by the Fire & near the feet
of the Bed but did not drop asleep, That
in about ten Minutes or a Quarter of an
hour Dept. saw the window Curtain shake and heard
the Sash of one of the Windows in the Room
put up, upon which he immediately rant
the Window found the Sash up and saw the
Deced bye upon the Pavement in the Yard
Back wards, beer be [..] One & two o'Clock Yesterday [..] Says, that he went directly to
the Deced and took him up and carried
him
