Informations taken this Ninth
day of September 1785 at the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Felton Lionel
Harvey
< no role > Esqr . lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty & County.

John Richards< no role > of the Strand in the Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields Gunsmith on his
Oath saith That about half hour after Ten
this Morning Felton Lionel Harvey< no role >
Esqr . came into Depts. Shop Dept. being
in the back [..] Says that he observe
the Deced to thing to Depts Servants,
JohnDust< no role > & John Sicker< no role > in the Shop
upon which Dept. came into the Shop
and met the Deced coming towards
him, who without saying, any thing
[..] Seven Guineas into Depts. Hand.. the
Deced having a Pistol on his Hand,
and their asked Dept. if he had any
Powder and Boll to try the Pistols
Says that he put a Paper containing
two Ounces of Powder upon a Board
and went to the Window to fetch a
Charges, Deced took some Powder from
the Paper upon the Board, but Dept. cannot
tell the Quantity Deced then asked, for
a Ball, which John Dust< no role > gave him
and Deced put it into the Pistol upon which Dept. said the Ball is too small, but Deced said it would do and
then walked into [..] the Parlour and
Dept. followed him, Deced appearing to be
going to Fire the Pistol, Says that he
took held of the Deced's Arm in order to
show the Deced down Stairs to th Place
where
