Informations taken this Third day
of September 1785 at the Parish of
St. James within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Midsex upon on
Inquisition touching the death of
Lydia Oskford< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty & County.

William Webster< no role > Journeyman to Mr. Hayne
Apothecary in old Bond Street on his Oath
saith That about Nine o'Clock last Night
this Dept. was fetched to a Woman who
had fallen down at a House in Cork Street
Says that he went and found the Deced's
Thigh broke, That the Deced Groaned
very much but could not speak, and
appeared to be dying Says that he bled
the Deced in the Arm but she bled
very little Says that he fetched Mr.
Cranston the Surgeon who likewise
Examined the Deced and found the
Thigh broke, and said that he thought
the back part of the Head was Injured,
and Dept. says that he believes the hurt
which the Deced reced by the fall to be
the cause of her Death.

at work Yesterday of the House of
Cole in Cark Street in the Parish of St. James
Westmr. Says that this Dept. was in the
Kitchen of that House, and very soon
after the Clock struck Eight last Night
