up and going up Stairs, found the Deced
Hanging by a Cord which was fastened
to the Newill upon the Stairs and about
the Deced's Neck, and appeared to be dead
Says that she called Mrs. Slacck who saw
the Deced Hanging, and where they were
got down Stairs they heard a Noise upon
the Stairs and going up they saw the
Deced lying there, the Cord being broken,
Says that other People come there, and the
Surgeon of the Hospital was fetched who
endeavoured to restore the Deced to Life
Says that the Deced lived uptil Yesterday
Morning between two a three o'Clock
when Deced died in consequence of
Hanging himself, Says that the Deced
was often in Liquor, and that he was
at times Disordered in his Senior
especially when in Liquor

Yard Locksmith on her Oath saith that
on Wednesday Morning last between five
& Six o'Clock Mrs. Masters called out desiring
Dept. to come to her Saying that her husband
had Hanged himself, upon which she went
with Mrs. Martins and on the Stairs saw
the Deced Hanging, That they went down
Stairs and heard something fall upon
the Stairs, and on going up again found
the Cord had broken and the Deced lying
upo the Stairs, Says that he breathed but
was not able to speak, That a Surgeon
was fetched, who endeavoured, to restore
the Deced to Like Says that the Deced lived
until the next Morning between two &
three o'Clock, & then died, and Dept. believes
that the Deced Hanged himself And Dept.
believes that the Deced lately was Disordered in his
Mind.
