Informations taken this Eighteenth
day of April 1785 at the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square within
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of a new born
Male Child lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Walter Woodward< no role > a Lodger at Mr. Lane's
in Park Lane away Farm in the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square on his Oath
saith That he this Dept. between Eight and
Nine o'Clock this Morning was Upon
the Wooden Bridge Chelsea in the said
Parish of St. George Hanover Square and
looking over the Bridge on the Upper
side, the Side being going out, Dept.
saw the new born Male Child. lying upon
the Mud about the Middle of the Channel
of the River, Says that he sent his Boy
to the Deced who brought him to Dept.
the Child being dead and appeared to
have been some days in the River
and Dept. thought the Deced had a small
Briuce on the side of his Head, but
no Wound or any Blood, Says that
he went for the Beadle of the Parish
who sent Depts. Boy with it to the
Bone house.
