When they saw Deced standing there
with his face towards them, having a large
Wound in his Throat, and much Blood
upon his Cloaths and on the Floor, the Deced
not being able to speak, Says that they
did not touch the Deced, but went down to
Acquaint Mr. Crook who went up with
them immediately and saw the Deced
lying upon the Floor Bleeding from
the Wound in the Throat Dept. thinks
he was then alive but is not sure, Says
that he went for a Surgeon, and Mr.
Howars came there & went up to
Deced, and Dept. was informed that Deced
was then dead, and Dept. believes that
the Deced gave himself the Wound in
the Throat which caused his Death
Says that he afterwards saw a Razor
on the Floor open & Blody with which
he thinks the Wound was given.
Says that the Deced appeared Yesterday
to be very uneasy, and was worse
this day, and much disturbed in
his Mind.

That Mr. Francis this Morning between
Nine and Ten o'Clock [..] Dept. to stay
with Deced who was in the Shop, and not
to leave him, as heapprehended [..] that he
was in Danger do not fit to be left in his Mind, Says
that he kept near the Deced until about
half past two o'Clock when Dept. with the
consent of Mr. Francis went to Dinner
and

and Mr. Francis said that he would take
care, there being several People in the
Shop, Says that he was soon fetched [..]
and informed that the Deced had cut his
Throat, and Dept. went up to Deced
who lay dead upon the Floor with a
large Wound in his Throat, which he
believes Deced gave himself with the
Razor which was upon the Floor near
the Deced, And this Dept. further Says
that he believes the Deced was this day
Disordered in his Mind.
