in the Taproom, Says that Dept. helped
him up and they both walked out
of the house together, says that when
they were got out of the Door Deced
fell down again, That he helped
Deced up who walked about ten yards
and fell down again, says that he
with the Assistance of the Watchman
lefted up the Deced, and laid him
under the Butcher's Bulk there
that they got some Straw to put under
the Deced and Dept. desired the watchman
to take care of him and Dept. was going, home
when the Watchman felt the Deced's hand
and said he believed the Deced was dying
That the Watchman went to Mr. Jerrie's
the Surgeon who came there and said
the Deced was dead and Deced was
aferwards carried to the Parish
Workhouse Says that they had no
Quarrel nor did any Person hurt
the Deced, and Dept. cannot any but
thinks that the Liquor which Deced
drank may have contributed to his
Death

on his Oath saith That between two and
three o'clock Yesterday Morning a
Watchman called him up saying there
was a Man dend in Hunger ford Market upon
which Dept. went there and found the Deced
Eying upon some straw, adn on Examming
the Deced found that he was dead, That

the Deced was carried to the Watch house
where Dept. attempted to bleed Deced both
in the Tomple in the Arm but Deced
did not bleed. That he afterwards used
every method to restore Deced to Life
but without effect, Says that he found
no Marks, of violence upon the Deced
and Dept. thinks that he must have
been Suffocated with the Quantity of
Liquor that he had drunk

Market on her Oath Saith that on Wednesday
Night last about Twelve o'clock the Deced
two other Men and a Woman come to
Depts. House, being rather Merry, Says that
the three Man and another Man in the
Taproom draink each of them two Glasses
of Gin, and one of the Men paid eight pence
for it, That one of the Man and the Woman
went away, Says that the Deced drank
fair Glasses more of Gin, and the other
Man drank five Glasses, and paid Seventeen
pence for the whole, Says that the Deced
wanted Beer, and being refused, he would
have more Gin, which Dept. would not
Serve, Says that they both agreed to go
home and Deced shook hands with Dept.
and wished her a good Night and she desird
the other Man to see the Deced home which
he promised to do, Says that the Man in
play in the Taproom pushed the Deced
down, but Deced was not hurt, That they
both went out together and dept. saw no
more of them street the Deced appeared
to be most in Liquors but was able to
