Informations taken this Twenty fifth day of
June 1774 at the Parish of St. Margaret within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of John Parke< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and County.

Richard Wyman< no role > Wheelwright of Gardener's Law
Westmr. on his Oath saith. That Yesterday Morning
(June 24th) about Seven o'Clock Dept. being at Work
in Mr. Hawks Shop in Blue Anchor Yard in the
Parish of St. Margaret when he heard several
People cry out that Mr Parke had hanged
himself, Says that the Door of Mr. Parke's
House was fastened and that he by Mr. Hawk [..]
direction with a Chesil forced open the [..]
Outward Door, and that he went in, and in
a Shed backwards in the Yard Dept. saw the
Deced Hanging by [..] ome Worsted Lace which
was fastened to a Rafter of the Shed and about
the Deced's Neck with a running Noose
Says that he cut the Worsted Lace with the
Chesil and Deced was laid upon the Ground
being dead and Quite Cold,

Diana Parke< no role > Daughter of John Parke< no role > the Deced
on her Oath saith That on Thursday Night last
(June 23d.) about Twelve o'Clock the Deced came
home to his House in Blue Anchor Yard and Dep [..]
let him in when he looked will and distracted
Says that Deced went into the Room on the
Ground [..] or and Dept. went up Stairs to Bed being
frightened at the Deced's looks, Says that she
was awaked about Seven o'Clock the next
Morning by her mother crying out, "There is a Rogue in the
"Shed", upon which Dept. came down Stairs and
