was no Person but the Deced on the Shore Plank at the time
he fell in, Deponent thinks the Deced was a little in Liquor

Thomas Brown< no role > Servant to Mr. Hoare on his Oath says that
3 Weeks age last Tuesday, the Deced was carrying a Lack of
Coals on his Back and going along the Shore Plank, happened to
make a false Step and fall with the Water in the Dock with the Lack on his Back and
the Lack fall on his Leg the Deponent heard him Plunge in the Waterwhichand when he was taken out the
DecedDeponent found that his Leg was Broke, the Bone coming
through the Stocking, Deponent says he believes no other Person
was on the Plank at the time the Deced fell

This is to certify that James Porter< no role > died in
the Westminster Hospital of a fever is consequence
of an exceeding had compound fracture of the Leg
