Informations taken this 26th. day of Decr. 1771
at the Parish of St. Margaret within the Liberty
of Westmr . in the County of Middlesex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of John Prickett< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty and
County.

Joseph Harden< no role > the Apothecary's Pupil of the Westmr.
Hospital on his Oath saith That on Thursday Decr. 12 John
Prickett
< no role > the Deced was brought to said Hospital as on Accident
having a Wound on the Upper hinder part of his Head in length about
one Inch and an half Says that he Dressed the Wound and
the Deced was put into Bed, Says that he continued pretty,
well for two or three days, where some bad Symptoms
appeared, that he grew worse, and died on the 25th. Inst
in said Hospital, Says that the Deced was Trapanned
on Monday last (Decr. 23d.) and that a great Quantity
of Water was discharged from between the dura and
Pia Mater, and believes that the Wound abovementioned
was the occasion of his Death, And Says that the Deced
when he was first brought to said Hospital informed Dept.
that he reced the hurt by felling down Stairs.

Second FloorGarret in a House No. 17 Let in Lodgings in Charles Court
in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields on her Oath saith
That on Wednesday (Decr. 11th as Dept. believes) about Ten o'Clock
in the Evening Dept. being in Mr. Jane Robinson< no role > 's Room
on the first Floor in the same House, when Mr. John Prickett< no role >
the Deced came in at the Door and called for a Light, saying
that he wanted to go into the Cellar, Says that Mary Prickett< no role >
the Deced's Daughter came down Stairs and gave the Deced
a Lamp burning, and Dept. heard him go down the Cellar Stairs, That
in about a Quarter of an hour she heard the Deced came
