to wit

An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord
the King at the Parish of Saint Jameswithin the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of
the Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the Twenty fifth
Day of January in the Ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by
the Grace of god of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth before
Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our Lord the King for the said City and Liberty On View of
the Body of John Roberts< no role > , suspected to have been Murdered, then and there lying dead, upon the Oath of John Bray< no role >
Lawen Masqueries< no role > , Edward Collins< no role > , William Waters< no role > , Joseph Robinson< no role > , John Buckley< no role > , William James< no role > , William Tampler< no role >
Thomas Hornshaw< no role > , Jacob Foster< no role > , William Pilton< no role > , John Lee< no role > , Robert Barnett< no role > , Theodore Carter< no role >
John Holden< no role > and John Demay< no role > good and lawfull Men of the said Liberty duly Chosen

Who being then and there duly Sworn and Charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when, how, and by
what Means the said John Roberts< no role > came to his Death do upon their Oath say, That
the said John Roberts< no role > on the Twenty fourth day of January in the Year aforesaid, at the
Parish and in the Liberty and County aforesaid, departed this Life by the Visitation of
God in a natural Way, to Wit, of a Fever, and not by any Hurt or Injury received
from any Person, to the Knowledge of the said Jurors. In Witness whereof as well
the said Coroner as the said John Bray< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf
of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set
their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place first above written
