Court Drury Lane Breeches Maker on his Oath South
that Henry Child< no role > the Deced lodged in the same Room with
Deced, and that he came home between Eleven and twelve
on Tuesday Night the 26th. of March last, & found the Dece [..]
in Bed assleep, Says that some time that Night the Deced
went down Stairs and when hereturned he told Dept.
that he had a great Pain in his Belly and that he had
been Purging and vomiting violently below Stairs. Says
that he this Dept. went out to his Work in the Morning
and Come home that Night and found the Deced in
Bed, Says that Deced then told Dept. that he had been the [..]
Day at the Castle and was there informed that some
Bakers had put Jollop into theBeerPurl that he drank
there the day before, and that the Landlady had given
the Bakers the first parcel, That the Bakers laid
a Wager with Deced that he would not drink off a
Pint of PurlBeerat a Draught, That he the Deced had
drank a Pint of PurlBeerat a Draught, & that he after [..]
drank another Pint of Purl at a Draft, and that
theyhe afterwards gothimsome Geneva. Dept.
says that the Deced told him that he the Deced was [..]
so much that he believed he should not live. That he fell
assleep on a Bulk on the Tuesday Night after he drank the
purl and that an Acquintance of his brought him the Deced
to his Lodging. and that he Purged & Vomited as he came home

Richard Webb< no role > of Warwick Court Holbourn Surgeon
on his Oath saith that he this day opened the Body of
the Deced and carefully Examined the Stomach and
Gents , that there is no Mortification or Inflammation
but a natural Appearance in there parts, And that
there is no Appearance of the Deced having reced
any Injury.
