to the said Parish, Says that the Place where the Dept. found
the Deced was about twelve Yards from the Dept. Watch box

Robert Crisp< no role > Coachman to Mrs. Cac. Cartney in Upper
Brook Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square on his
Oath saith, that, about a Quarter after Nine O' Clock on
Tuesday Night last, Deponent was going to his Mistress's stable
in Woods Mews Park Lane , Says that he heard a Watchman
call out, and desiring Deponent to bring a light, for that
he believed a Dead Woman lay there, upon which Deponent
went with the Watchman, and saw the Deced lye upon
the Ground in Park Lane in the foot way near Hyde Park
wall, Deced lying upon [..] left side of her
face upon the Ground, Says that he saw much Blood upon
the Ground about the Deced's Head, Says that a Surgeon was
fetched, and that Deced was not moved until the Suryeon
came there, who Examined the Deced in the presence of
Deponent and Deponent then saw a deep wound in
Deced's Neck, and Says that he heard the Surgeon say that
the Deced's Wind pipe was Cut, and that she was a Dead woman
Says that some Person was sent to the Watchhouse to acquaint
the Officers of the Parish there with, and Dept. then went away
says, that there was a Man with the Watchman where
he first called to Deponent, that he stard with them by the
Body some time, with both his Arms across, and his Hands under
his [..] Coat, Says that he did not know that Man, but
took much Notice of him, Says that he saw a Man this
day who says his Name is George Winfield< no role > and Husband to the
decedthat greatly resembles the Man which Dept. saw
with the Watchman when Dept. first saw the Deced, and
Deponent believes him to be the desire Man, but cannot be certain
thereof, Says that he saw a Rager lye on the Ground
by the Deced about three Quarters of a Yard from her, the
Razor being shut Rose and Hoody

John Baker< no role > Victualler at the Rose and Crown in Brood
St. Giles in the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex , on his Oath saith, that the Deced, (and George Winfield< no role >
who always passed for and was reputed to be the Deced's Husband
lodged with the Deced for a Year and an half last past, says
that the Said George Winfield< no role > is a Taylor and used to Work in
Monmouth Street , Says that said George Winfield< no role > came house
from Work about Seven O' Clock on Tuesday last in the afternoon
(as usual) and immediately went up Stairs to his apartment
on the First Floor, and Deponent did not see him afterwards
that Night, Says that said george Winfield< no role > and the Deced above
lived very peaceably and quiet, and Dept. never heard any
Quarrel between them Says that George winfield bears a good Charater
and Dept. belive as him to be a sober honest Men, Says
that the Deced has been very Malancholy and low Sprinted for
about two Months last past.

John Makin< no role > of Park Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square Apothecary on his Oath saith, that on Tuesday Night
last about Nine O' Clock a person came to Dept. desiring him
to come to a woman that lay bleading in Park Lane , Says that
he immediately went and found the Deced lying upon the Great
in Park Lane , Says that there was much Blood about her, and
that on Examining the Deced he found a Wound in the Deced's
Throat,and that the Windpipe, and the Arteries were Devided, which
was the Cause of the Death of the Deced, Says that a Razor was
found within half a Yard of the place where the Deced lay, and
that the Razor was shut close, Says that he believes [..]
was given with a Razor or some such Instrument, and
thinks that the Deced could not give herself the Wound in
the Throat, and afterwards shut the Razor, Says that the
left Thumb of the Deced was in her right hand when he fire
saw the Deced
