Ann Davis< no role > Servant to Mr. Robert simpson< no role > in John
Street Golden Square on her Oath saith, That On Saturday
last about one O' Clock Deced came to Mr. Simpson's House
and down into the Kitchin with [..] Dept. and desired Dept. to got
him a Point of Milk, which Dept. did, and after warning
it in a Same pan, foured about two thirds of it into a
Bason, says that Deced then [..] desired Dept. to go and
fetch him a lump of Sugar from her Mistress, upon which
she Went up Stairs,Says the returned immediately and
found no Milk in the Bason upon which she asked Deced if he pad Frankit
to which he answered he had, and Deced afterwards foured
the remainder of the milk out of the same pan into the Bason and Draw
it, and afterwards washed he Bason in a Poil of water in the Note and
went up Stairs to Mr.Simpson, where he stard about a Quarter
of an from and then went away Says that when Deced was
gone up Stairs she saw some white Powder upon the Kitchin
Floor and likewise some in the bottom of the pail, where in the
Deced had washed the Bason, and a Piece of Paper upon the
Dresser, which were not there before Deced came into the
Kitchen, Dept, says that (when Deced was gone) she acquanty
her Mistross herewith who immediately went to Deeads [..]
as she informed Dept. and soon returned, Says that she
soon after was sent to see how Deced was, and found him
upon the Bed in his Lodging , and Deced then told Dept. that
he did not want her, says that she , went home and returned in the Evening
to Deced with her Mistress and stayed with him until he
died which was about eleven O' Clock that night Dept. says that
Deced used to Eat for the Most part at Mr. Simpson her
Master's House for about three Months last past. Says
that for about two months last the Deced has been very
Malancholy, soldom cared to Speak, and behaved very
different from what he had done before, and Deponent
believes that the Deced was at that time Disordered in
his Senses.
