Informations of Witnesses taken this Nineteenth
day of March 1764 at the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex upon an Inquisition taken on View of
the Body of Barnaby Byrne< no role > lying Dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Robert Franklin< no role > a Lodger at Mr. John Dillin< no role > 's in Pollin
Street in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square , on his
Oath saith, That Yesterday Morning about Seven O'Clock
Deponent got out of Bed and on opening his Room Door
[..] (which is two pair of Stairs) he discovered the
Deced, (who lodged in the Garret in the Garret in the said
Mr. Dillin's house) lying at the bottom of the Garret
Stairs, with his face upwards, the Deceds head lying
towards the Deponent's Room Door, and his Feet upon
the Garret Stairs, Says that he took hold of the Deceds right
Hand and found it Cold, and Deponent immediately
called out to his Wife, saying a Dead Manlay there,
Deponent then went down Stairs to Mr. Dillin and
Acquainted him with what he had seen, says that Mr.
Dillin went with Deponent to Deced, and found
him Dead, Says that he went to call a Person. who
was Brother in Law to the Deced, and when he came
to Deced Assisted Mr. Dillon to pull the Deced into a two parr of
Stairs Room, and Deponenent went away and left
Deced there, Says that he heard no Disturbance in
the House on Monday Night, or any Noise upon the
Stairs YesterdaythatMorning before the Deponent got up.

Daniel Byrne< no role > Son of the Deced on his Oath saith
that he spent the Evening on Saturday last with Deced
at the Sign of Admiral Vernon in North Audley Street
Says that they both stayed there Drinking Strong Beer
until about one O'Clock, Says that he came home
