duly chosen who being then and there duly Sworn and charged to inquire for Our said Lord the
King when how and by what Means the said

came to his Death do
upon their Oath say, That the said Barnaby Byrne on the Eighteenth day of March
in
the Year aforesaid, about two of the Clock in the Morning, was going up the Stairs
into his lodging Room or Apartment, being a Garret, in the Dwelling House of

, situate in a certain Street called Pollin Street, in the said Parish of St. George
Hanover Square
, within the Liberty and County aforesaid, And then and there being
in Liquor, It so happened that the said Barnaby Byrne Accidentally Casually and
by Misfortune fell down upon the Stairs leading to his said Garret, by Means of which
said Fall he the said Barnaby Byrne then and there received a violent Concussion upon the
Brain, of which said violent Concussion he the said Barnaby Byrne then and there
instantly Died. And so the Jurors aforesaid, upon their Oath aforesaid, do say, that the said
Barnaby Byrne in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, Accidentally Casually and by
Misfortune came to his Death, and not otherwise. In Witness whereof as well the
