Whereas Thomas Glover< no role > , John Gabriel< no role > , Richard Clements< no role > , William Bradstreet< no role > and John Thompson< no role > was at the Sessions held
at the Old Bailey in September last Severally tried and Convicted of felonies and had Sentence of Death passed upon them for the same
And Whereas some favorable Circumstances have been humbly represented unto us in their Behalf inducing us to Extend our Grace and
Mercy unto them and to Grant them our pardon for the Crimes of which they stand respectively Convicted On Condition of the said
Thomas Glover< no role > John Gabriel< no role > and Richard Clements< no role > being Severally Transported for the term of Seven years and the said Wm.
Bradstreet
< no role > and John Thompson< no role > for and during the term of their natural lives to the Eastern Coast of New South Wales or
some one or other of the Islands adjacent Our Will and pleasure therefore is that you give the necessary directions accordingly
and that they be incerted for their said Crimes on the said Conditions in our first and next General Pardon that shall
come out for the poor Convicts in Newgate and for so doing this shall be your warrant Given at our Court at Saint
James's the Sixteenth day of November 1793 in the thirty fourth year of our Reign

Order for Removal of Forty Male Convicts to the Hulks in Portsmouth or Langston. Har [..]

Sheriffs of London and Middlesex Whitehall 22d. November 1793

Gentlemen, His Majesty having been pleased to give directions that Forty Male Convicts under Sentence
of Transportation in the Gaol of Newgate should be removed from thence on Board the Hulks in Portsmouth or Langston Harbour
near Portsmouth and Committed to the Charge of James Bradley< no role > Esquire Overseer of the Convicts on Board the said Hulks I am
Commanded to Signify to you the Kings pleasure that you do cause the said Convicts if upon being Examined by an Experienced Surgean
they shall be found free from any putrid or infections distemper to be removed on Board the Hulks above mentioned where they are
to remain until their Sentences can be carried into Execution or be otherwise disposed of according to Law

Ps. You will send with the Prisoners an Account
of their Ages and respective Sentences.}
