London and Middlesex , To the Sheriffs of the City of London and
To the Sheriff of the County of Middlesex and
To the Keeper of His Majestys Gaol of Newgate

Whereas at the Session of Goal Delivery of Newgate for the City of London and County of Middlesex holden at Justice
Hall in the Old Bailey on Wednesday the thirtieth day of October last, George, Clayton< no role > , John Smearly< no role > , Robert Delamotte< no role >
William Brown< no role > , Joseph Soufflatt, Richard Campbell< no role > and Lawrence Jones< no role > received Sentence of Death for the respective Offences
in their several Indictments mentioned Now it is hereby Ordered that execution of the said Sentence be made and done upon
him the said Lawrence Jones< no role > on Wednesday next the Eleventh day of December in Hatton Garden as near as conveniently may
be to the House in which the Robbery was committed and of which the said Lawrence Jones< no role > was Convicted And it is His
Majestys Command that Execution of the said Sentence upon them the said George Clayton< no role > , John Smearly< no role > , Robert Delamotte< no role >
William Brown< no role > Joseph Soufflatt< no role > and Richard Campbell< no role > be Respited until His Majestys pleasure touching them be further known

upon the Body of Lawrence Jones< no role > as directed by the Warrant on the other side He found means
to hang himself in the Cell where he was confined in Newgate

Agreeably to Order and to the Coroners Inquest on View of the Body
Lawrence Jones< no role > was Buried with his Cloaths and Irons on without a Coffin
in a Hole dug for the purpose on Holborn Hill opposite Hatton Street. his name Etc. is written on
page 23. No. 55
