G. Fisher but his name is Gabriel and he is known at the different offices by the name of Jack Shadon< no role > .

My dear friend
I have the pleasure now of writing and informing you that I am Safe arrived in Longtown after a long and tedious trial for after me Samuel Tramp< no role > , Bill Chadwick< no role > and old James Freer< no role > made a Boult from the Hooker we padded by Darkey from Saturday night till Wednesday morning and then we made Kingston upon Thames and going in to get something to refresh ourselves two of the Bloody light Horsemen that guarded us down was their and Know Tramp and me again and they with the Assistance of some others put Mr. Grab aboard, but not Knowing Bill and Freer let them Nash but as soon as we came before the old Beak and they Buffect that we was returned Lags he quadded us instantly and Sent a party of the Bloody light Horse men Ealers after them but to no purpose, and the night before last Sam and me made Bowld toJack the Quad and Rash and let four more out, and we walk'd with a pair of double Stangs on one pin all the way to Town and then a friend of mine was kind enough to relieve us of them which was a great Comfort for we were galld as bad as ever you Saw two post horses and yesterday morning my friend Hart came down to see me when I was with you went down to K - to see me he saw the nesst but the Birds was gone and he informed the that their was no little Stink but as yet I have not seen the Chant neither have we Seen B - O other but are at this time waiting for O and as Soon as I see them I expect we shall till four of us go into the munky together and as soon as we drop into some Grag, we all intend to Sent you and two or three more something down for Christmas just to drink one Healths and tell Redney I shall not forget to call on Mr Thomas Parsley< no role > the first opportunity - I am desires to be remembered to you Dr. Nelson, Tuffnell Bill, Mountain and all inquiring true Bottoms and please to accept my best respects yourself and Remember me to George Monison< no role > Ro. Davies< no role > , Bill Mountain and old & Rose. If Holland Jo Mitchell and to all well wishers and to Bill Jones you must make an Excuse or me for I cannot think of any more names at present being over joyed at being in Longtown to condude Etc.
