and say and first this Deponent Thomas Cooper< no role >
the Younger
for himself saith that previous to the present Session he made
diligent Inquires for the above named prosecutrix for the purpose
of serving her with Notice of Trial for this Session his has not been
able to obtain any intelligences respecting her, that he this
Deponent went to a House in Cheapside
where the said prosecutrix
lived as Servant but was informed by the Master thereof
that she had left him sometime past and that he did
not know where she was or was able to give any
intelligence about her that the time she left him she did
not say a leave word where she might be found And this
Deponent Thomas Cooper< no role >
the Elder
for himself saith that the
said prosecutrix well know that notice of Trial was
meant to be served on her for this Sessions as she was
present in Court last Sessions when this prosecution was
ordered to stand over till the present and she was
informed by this Deponent that the Cause would
be tried this Session
