C.P were respectively indebted to the Sd Chs And that the Sd Wm being
a prson of dishonest disposition & mindg & intending to Cheat and
defraud the Sd Chs of the sevl sums of Money have mentd on the said
24th day of Octr unlawfully fraudulently & decertfully and alter the Sd acct
and insert and add o the Sd acct. the Sum of 6/3 opposite a certain
surname in the Sd acct followg (that is to say) Good all (meaning
the Sd J.G) & did further insert and add to the Sd Acct. the Sum of 3s/9d
opposite a certain as Surname in the said acct. followg (that is to
say) Priyor (meang the Sd Cas Sd) & did alter the Sum of £1.4s..½ at the
bottom of the Sd acct to the Sum of £1.14s-½ with intention to make
it appear and be belived that sea Sd com had accountd with the
Sd Chs for the sevl sums of 6s/3d & 3s/9d mateg together the Sum of 10s/
wch the Sd Wm had so reced of the Sd J.G & C P on account of the Sd Chs
& that he had paid the Sd Chs the same whas in truth & in just the
Sd Wm did not ever acct with the Sd Chs for the Sd seal sums of 6s/3d
and 3/9 or either of them

9th Count

That the said Wm on the Sd 21st day of Octr was a first to the Sd in Chs.
& was employed by the Sd Chs (amongest as things) to carry out &
deliver divers Goods to Customers of him the Sd Chs & to receive & take
Monies for the same

10th Count

That the Sd Wm on the 21st day of the Octr did enter in a Book
belongg to him the Sd Chs on Acct. in writg of all Goods and Monies
delivered and reced by the said Wm on that day on account of the said
Charles

11th Count

That the Sd Wm and then produce & shoe the Sd acct to the said
Chs. as a true & past acct. of him the Sd Wm of all goods and Monies
deld & reced by him on the Sd 21st day of Octr & did pay him the sum of
being the acct. of the Monies mentd in the Sd accot. the Sd Chs did
therefrom sign the Initials Lies of his Name at the bottom of the same
to wit the Lies & He as a memorandum that the same had been
duly settled and that he had reced the Monies Alies mentd.

12th Count

That the said Wm on the Sd 24th day of Octr did receive on Acct of the Sd
Chs the sum 6s/3d of Thomas Gold< no role > all in wch Ad sum the Sd Thomas
Gold all was them enabled to the Sd Chs for Goods then lately before and
to him And that the Sd Wm being a person of dishonest disposition
& mendg & intendg to cheat & defraud the Sd Chs on the Sd 24th day of Octr
unlawfully fraudulatly and directfully did alter the Sd Acct which he
and so made entd Etc brown to the said Chs & wch as and signed the & intials
Letter of his name unto, and did insert and add to the Sd acct. the sume of
6s/3d [..] opposite a certain Surname in the Sd Acct. followg (that in to say
& good all (meaning the Sd J G) with intention & make it appear or
believed that he the Sd Wm and accounted with the Sd Charles for the
same & that he had paid him the same with intention by the false
Colowas & means to cheat & defraud the Sd Chs of the said sum of 6s/3d
Whas in truth & in fact he the Sd Wm did not ever accot. with the
Sd Charles for the same nor did he ever pay him the sauce
