At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden at the Town Court House near Westmr. hall in
and for the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate
Church of St Peter Westmr: the City Borough and Town of Westmr
in the County of Middx and St Martin le Grand London
on Thursdaythe ninth day of July in theThirty
first Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role > George the Third
King of Great Britain Etc before Sir John Fielding< no role > Knt
William Kelynge< no role > and Thomas Kynaston< no role > Esqrs
and others their fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the peace within the said Liberty and also to
hear and determine diverse felonies Trespasses and other
Misdeeds Committed in the same Liberty

Upon reading the humble Petition of George Smith< no role > Gentl Governor
or Master of the House of Correction at Tothill Fields within this
Liberty It is Ordered by this Court by virtue of the Power given
in & by the Act of Parliamt. in that behalf that Mr. James
Jefferson Treasurer of the County of Middx Do Pay to the sd.
George Smith< no role > the Sum of Twenty five Pounds for and
towards the support & Maintenance of the Prisoners in the
said House of Correction Sick & unable to work for the last
half Year ending at Midsummer And that the Receipt of the
said George Smith< no role > together with this Order shall be a
sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such Paymt
