To wit. To the Constable, Head borough Tythingman,
and other Officer of the Peace of the Parish
of Saint George Hanr. Square [..] in the
Liberty of Westminster
within the said Liberty to receive
and to convey. And to the Church Wardens
Chapel Wardens , and Overseers of [..]
of the Parish, Place or Precinct of St. Peter
Permountgate in the City of November
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Sampson Brown Aged Sixteen
Years was
apprehended in the Parish of St. George Hanr. Square
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet)
has layn in the Open Air in the said Parish
and upon Examination of the said Sampson Brown< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that The place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Sampson Brown< no role >
is in the Parish of St. Peters Permountgate in the
City of Norwich

These are therefore to require you the said Constable, or other Officer,
to convey the said Sampson Brown< no role >
to the Parish of St. Dunstan East London that being the first
Parish in the next Precinct, through which he ought to pass
in the direct Way to the said Parish of St. Peters permountgate to which
he is to be sent, and to deliver him to the Constable or
other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct, together with
this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Sampson Brown taking his Receipt
for the same. And the said Sampson Brown< no role >
to be thence carried on in like Manner
to the said Parish of St. Peters Permount gate
there to be delivered to some Church Warden, Chapel Warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church
Warden, Chapel Warden, or Overseer of the Poor, and her by required to
receive the said Person, and provide for him as aforesaid. GIVEN
under my Hand and Seal this 7th Day of January
in the Year of our Lord 17 67.
