To the Constable , Headborough Tythingman, and other
Officer of the Peace of the Parish of [..]
within the Liberty of Westminster
to receive and convey. And to the Church-wardens,
Chapel-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish,
Place, or Precinct of Scarborough in the County
of York or either of them to receive
and obey.

WHEREAS John Richmond< no role > was
apprehended in the said Parish of St James
as a Rogue and Vagabond, (videlicet) Wandering [..]
and Begging
and upon Examination of the said John Richmond< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which Examination is hereunto annexed)
it doth appear that his last legal Place of Settlemt.
is in the Town of Scarborough in the County
of York

These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to convey the said John Richmond< no role >
to the Parish of Cheshunt in the County of Herts
that being the first Parish in the next Precinct through which he
ought to pass in the direct Way to the saidParishof Town Scarborough
to which her is to be sent and to deliver him to the
Constable or other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct, together
with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
John Richmond< no role > taking
his Receipt for the same. And the said John Richmond< no role >
to be thence carried in like Manner to the said
ParishTown of Scarborough
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor of the same Parish, to be there provided for according
to Law. And you the said Churchwarden, Chapel-Warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor , are hereby required to receive the said Person and
provide for him as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal
this 21st Day of Janry in the Year
