THE Examination of Hannah Badger< no role >
a
Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by John
Dotchin one of the Beadles
in the Parish of Saint James Westminster
and brought before me, one of his Majesty< no role > 's
Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty
of Westminster aforesaid. And taken before
me this 23d Day of January in the
Year of Our Lord 17 66.

This Examinant on h er Oath says, That she
is about Fifty Years old and is the Widow
of Benjamin Badger< no role > who hath been dead about
a Fortnight to whom she was Married at
May fair Chapel about 23 Years ago that her said
Husband served an Apprenticeship of 7 Years to
Mr Manwaring a Cordwainer in Tottenham Court
[..]
County of Middlesex which expired about 34 Years
ago and that he never kept House nor was a
Yearly hired Servant in any Place for 12 Months
on did any Act to gain any other Settlement
nor hath she this Examinant since his deceased
