Maketh oath That he this Deponent did on or
about the Twenty Seventh day of September last
Receive the Letter hereunto annexed by the
General Post from
John Elliot< no role >
the Defend and
in this Cause and does believe the said Letter to be
of his own hand writing and that the said Defendant
at the time the said Letter bears date (which was
the 25h of September last) was then and this
Deponent hath great reason to believe Still is
at Holkham in the County of Norfolk
And this
Deponent further Saith That he hath likewise
great reason to believe that the said Defendant
will be in Town in about a fortnights time
