The King
against
Guy and two other

William Keate< no role > Sollictor for the Defendants in this
Cause maketh Oath and saith that he this Deponent
did on Wednesday last serve James Joy< no role > Esqr . the Prosecutor
in this Cause with a true Copy of the Notice hereto annexed
by leaving the same at the Lodging of the said Mr. Joy
at Mr. Wilkies House in Craven Street in the Strand with
his Mark Servant there who informed this Deponant that the
said Mr. Joy's Servant was not then within but would return
in a very little time when she would give the same to him
in Order to be delivered to his Master the said Mr. Joy which
said Mr. Joy was then within as the said Maid Servant
informed this Deponent And this Deponent says that he
did Yesterday call at the said Mr. Joy's Lodgings in Craven
Street aforesaid and there saw the Servant of the sai Mr.
Joy who told this Deponent he had received the said Notice and
delivered the same to his Master the Prosecutor in this
Cause or Words to that or the like Effect.
