The Examination of Alice Dickonson< no role > Wife of
John Dickenson< no role > a Soldier in Capt. Wrights Company in Coll. Durd
Marching Reqiment taken upon Oath this 1st. Day of May 1742

Who saith that her said Husband is gone with the said
Regiment to Flanders, And that he was born in York shire but.
in what Parish or near what Town there She Cannott tell, and
that she never heard her said Husband was ever an Apprentice
a Housekeeper or a Yearly hired Servant . And this Deponent as
to herself saith that her late Father John Greene< no role > deced served his
time to his Father in Law John Fuller< no role > a Weaver in the Parish
of St. James in the City of Colchester in the County of Essex And
never gained any Subsequent Settlement nor was this-
Deponent ever an Apprentice, are a Yearly hired, Or Housekeeper
And this Deponent further saith that she was Married to her
said Husband upwards of Eleven Years ago in all Saints
Church in Colchester aforesaid by whom she hath a Childnow
named William< no role > Aged upwards of Nine Years and she
lastly saith that she hath no Settled Place of Abode; but is forced
to Wander abroad and is Destitute of all means of getting a
Lively hood except asking Releif of Charitable and well
Disposed Poole.
