Marcking Regiment taken upon Oath this 1st. Day of May
1742.
Who saith that her said Husband is gone with the
said Regiment to Flanders And that he served his Apprentiship
to a Blacksmith
in the Parish or Place of Collinabine
in
the Shire of Bamff in Scotland
And never was a Housekeeper
nor a Yearly hired Servant
And this Deponent further
saith that she was Marryed to her said Husband by the
Revd. James Layter< no role >
in his House in Collinabine aforesaid
by whom she hath three Children now living who were all
born at a Birth (Namely) John Mary< no role >
and Diana, And are
about One and Twenty Months Old And this Deponent
lastly saith that She hath no Settled Place of Abode but is
forced to wander abroad, And is Destitute of all means of
getting Livelyhood and is Constrained to ask Releif of
Charitable and well Disposed People And she further
saith not.
