Place Yeoman on the Twenty Second Day of Augt. in the Twelfth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc with four & Anns at the
Parish aforesd. within the Liberty aforesd. in the County afsd. in & upon one Elizabeth the
Wife of Cassell Brooks< no role > in the Peace of God & our said Lord the King then & there being
did make an Assault & her the said Elizabeth Brooks< no role > then and there did beat wound
and ill-treat so that of her Life it was greatly despaired and other Wrongs to the said
Elizabeth Brooks< no role > then and there did To the great Damage of the said Elizabeth Brooks< no role >
and agt. the Peace of our said Lord the King his Crown & Dignity Whereupon the
Bayliff of the Liberty afsd. in the County afsd. is Commanded that he do not omitt but
that he cause the said Thomas Clancery to come to answer the Premisses And afterwards to
wit At the same General Quarter Session of the Peace of our said Lord the King holden for the
Liberty aforesd. at Westmr. afsd. in the County aforesd on Wednesday the said fourth Day of October in
