Saml. Cobb< no role > of Knowes Acre in the parish of Saint James Westmr.
in the County of Middx Painter maketh oath, that he this Depont. did on
Thursday last, Go to the House of John Lowry< no role > (mention'd in the peticon
here unto annext) in Carnaby Market , in order to Serve him with a Copy
of ye. sd. Petition & the Order of Court made thereupon, where this Depont
found the said House shat up & a Bill fiet over the door thereof to
Let ye James And on Inquiry of one Mr. Wickett & Dodsworth
next Neighbours to yr Sd. Lowry; he was there Inform'd by them
that the said Lecery had about a Month before Run away from his
Habitatien & Could not tell what was becomeofeither of him or any
of his Famely And this Depont. farther saith, yt. he did yesterday use
his utmost Endeeavours to find out ye sd. Lowery or his wife to Serve
them with ye sd. Petition & order but was not able to Effect ye same
