Upon Informacon given to this Court that divers Inhabitants
of the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster in this Liberty do
take upon them to Act as Scavengers in the Severall Wards in
the Said Parish for said Prsent Year and collect & receive great
Sumes of money of the Sevrall Inhabitants in the Said Wards
& Parish under colour of their offices, altho' the Said Persons
who act as Scavengers or any of them are not legally & duely
elected & appointed to Serve the Said Office Pursuant to the
Statute in that behalfe made & provided This Court taking
the Said Matter into their consideracon doth think fitt & order
that it be and it is hereby recomended and referred to Sr.
