Upon reading the humbly petition of Anne Allen< no role > Spinster exhibited into this
Court thereby Shewing that by Indenture dated the 28th day of February and
Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen She was by the Trustees of the grey Coat
charity Schools in the Parish of St. Martin in the Field in the Liberty bound
out ad an Apprentice to an Elizabeth Rose< no role > of the parish of St. Giles in the
Fields in this Country widdow and Millioner and with her after the manner
of an Apprentice to Sever from the date thereof for the Terme of five Years
only to learn her art, and that her said Mistress refused to allow her
sufficient meat drink washing and Loading and doth not take to instruct her
in her said Business according to the Covenants in the said Indenture
which if not prevented would and in the ruin of the Peticoner and the Peticoner
praying this Court to take the prmised into their consideracon and to grant
her with relife therein as to this Court Should Seem meet and upon hearing
of the said Elizabeth Rose< no role > in the presence of the peticonr and reading of
there said Indenture and examinacon of Several witness upon oath
touching the said matter This Court is of the opinion and declared
the said Indenture is void in Law the same being made for five [..]
Whereupon it is thought fit and orderly this Court that the
