Hospital Accounts and discovering the extent of the
injury sustained by the hospital and for other the
purposes specified in the Minutes of that Meeting
Which Report was read and is as follows.

To the Grand Committee
of St. Thomas's Hospital

The Report of the Sub-Committee
appointed by the Grand Committee of the
10th. day of April 1799 .

This Committee report that pursuant to
the Resolutions and Instructions of the above Grand
Committee this Committee at its first Meeting Proceeded to
take into Consideration the Circumstances and extent of
Anthony Wingfields< no role > emberncement of the Hospital property
and upon the recommendation of Mr. Athawes (one of
the Members of the Sub Committee) and with the
Treasurer's approbation determined that Mr. Joseph Beersers< no role >
should be employed to prepare the Accounts for the
Examination of the Sub Committee and the Treasurer
was requested to send a proper person with Mr. Beevers
to such of the Hospital Tenants as had not Produced
their last receipts for Rent, to see such Receipts.

Also ordered now Books of Account to be
opened under the Treasurers Inspection and that
no entires whatsoever should be made in the Present
Books.

Also had ordered a Copy of the late Mr.
Charles Smith< no role > 's Bond for Anthony Wingfields< no role > fidelity to
be made and delivered to Mr. Charles Smith< no role > his
Representative upon his Application for the same in
Consequence of the Clerks Letter written to Mr. Smith
pursuant to the Order of the Grand Committee
