Retain a years Rent in His Hands which He valued
or rather was valued to Him at 4 P Cent Interest and
lastly He was Tenant to one of the Principal Farms
and certainly, derived a considerable advantage by
letting it to under Tenants. On our new System
all these various Emoluments cease, and from our
Conversations with Mr Heywood, we understand that
He is very desirous of continuing the Receiver at a Stated
Salary or Poundage on the Clear Money He remitts
to the Hospital. and we ventured to go so far with
Him as to hope the Grand Committee woud not
think Nine pence in the Pound was more than
sufficient for His Past and future Services.

We must also deliver it as our opinion to the
Grand Committee, that it is Essentially necessary to appoint [..]
a Bailiff or Agent to attend Diligently to the Tenants
to enforce the Covenants in their Leases, particularly
as to the Management & Culture of their new Lands
& for the Planting & Preserving Timber Trees, for at
Present the whole Estate is very hare of Timber, for
this Business, We trust we can safely recommend Mr
Benjamin Chambers< no role > , whose Diligence and Conduct
in transacting this Business merits every return un
can make to Him. He is willing to undertake this
Charge, & We ventured to go so far with Him as to
Hope the Grand Committee woud not think Twenty
Five Pounds or Guineas P Ann more than Sufficient
for His late & future Services.

The award directed by the Act of Parliament is
now drawing out, and when finished Mr Chambers
must annex to it the Plan & Survey of the Parish
to be lodged in the Church at Tibshelf. And a, Copy
of the Award to be lodged at St. Thomas's Hospital
which Copy shall be deconed Evidence in all Court
of Lam & Equity. Lastly We beg [..] to observes, that
altho a considerable advance is now made in the Rents
