The Parish Officers & Principal
Inhabitants of St. Thomas's Parish having by Petition
to us set forth That they have been burthened frequently
with great Expences occasion'd by the Servants of the
Officers in this Hospital gaining a Settlement in the
said Parish We have consented that for the Future
the Expence of Maintaining such Poor should be at
the Charge of the Hospital

Eight Additional
Beds in Abraham's
Ward

We taking Notice that the Number
of Sick & Lame poor applying to be admitted into this
Hospital is of late years greatly increased And ha-
ving a Spare Room in Abrahams Wards sufficient for
the Accomodation of eight additional Patients have
order'd so many Beds to be fitted up And have taken
in Patients accordingly

We have order'd that the two remain-
ing blank Pannels in this Court Room should be
fill'd up with further Names of Benefactors to this
Hospital

Desperate Arrear
Struck off

We have order'd an old Arrear of
Rent of £60due for a Tenement in Newgate Market
and which we judge to be desperate to be Struck off
the Hospital Account & to be carry'd into the Account
of desperate debts

Gratuity to the
Steward

We taking Notice that Mr. Jonathan
Welch< no role > the Steward of this Hospital hath behaved
himself Diligently for the year past do recommend it
to this Court that he may have a Gratuity of Ten
Pounds paid him by Mr. Treasurer

We have order'd Green Staves to be
sent to the following Gentleman as proper Persons
to be Governors of this Hospital Vizt.
