The Minutes of the last General
Court held the 14th: Decr: 1748 last were read & confirmed

The Clerk acquainted this Court that since
the last Genl: Court there had been divers Charitable
Donations from the Worthy Governors of this Hospital
Vizt.

Robert Dingley< no role > This name instance is in set 1628. Esq 50.-
Miles Barne< no role > Esq 50.-
Peter Thomas< no role > Esq 50.-
Mr Brice Fisher< no role > 50.-

The Lord Mayor being present His
Lordship was pleased to acquaint the Court that
the defraying the great Charges of this Hospital
depending on the Benefactions of the Governors.
It is the constant Practice at every Genl: Court to
recommend Subscriptions

For which purpose his Lordship order'd the
Clerk to attend the Governors present with the
Subscription Book which was accordingly done

And there was subscribed as follows Vizt.

The Lord Mayor acquainted this Court
that the principal Design of calling it was, To choose
a President in the room of Sr Edward Bellamy< no role >
