and having no immediate Occasion for it proposed to make
a Purchase of £3000 Subscriptions in the 4 P Ct: Annuities
for the year 1747 for the use of the Hospl: which being approv'd
of He has accordingly purchased £3,300 at 9478 P Ct: in
the Names of the President & Treasurer of this Hospital

Gratuity to Mr. Steere
& Surveyor

Mr Steere our Surveyor having had this year
some extraordinary Trouble in making Estimates drawing
Planns & surveying the General Repair of the Hospital
We have given him Ten Guineas as a Gratuity for the same

We have chosen Mr. Eleazer Heywood< no role > to be
Steward & Receiver of the Hospital Estate at Tibshelf
in Derbyshire in the room of Mr Thos: Richardson< no role >
who resign'd. And we have sent him proper Instructions for
his more effectual discharging the sd: Office for the benefit
of the Hospl.

We taking Notice that Mr Jonathan Welch< no role >
the Steward of this Hospital hath behav'd himself very
Diligently for the year past Do Recommend it to this
Court that he may have a Gratuity of Ten Pounds paid
him by Mr Treasurer

We have order'd Green Staves to be sent to
