The Minutes of the last General
Court held the 15th. July last were read & approved

The Report of the Grand Committee
of their Proceedings since the last Annual
Court held the 15th. July 1741 was read & is as
follows Vizt.

To The Right Worshipfull

The General Court of the Governors
of St. Thomas Hospital

We the Grand Committee appointed
to manage the Affairs of this Hospitall: Do Report
our Proceedings therein since the last Annual Generall
Court held the 15th July 1741

We have Agreed with Mr. Abraham
Jordan
< no role > upon his Conveying to the use of the Hosp-
ital his Freehold Estate in Southwark of the value
of £30. P Annum. contiguous to the Houses he now
Rents of the Hospital; To grant a Lease to him of
his said Freehold and of the Hospital Premisses
for the Term of 51 Years to commence from the Expira
-tion of his present Lease, at the Yearly Rent of £8.
clear of all Taxes, And he is to rebuild the whole Pre
-misses both the Hospital & Freehold at his own Expences

to John

We have Granted to Mr. John Lewis
Paulhan
< no role > a Lease of three Houses in Bow & Basing
Lane (late held by Dr. Plumptre) for 51 Years from
Laday 1742 at £20 P Annum clear Rent and
£200 Fine, And he is to lay out in new Building
& Repairs £400

to Charles


We have Granted to Charles Ellis< no role > a
New Lease of the Farm at Parndon in Essex
which he now holds of the Hospital for 21 Years
