Twelve Shillings for Twelve penny worth of bread to be
given to the said poor every Lords day according to the
distretion of the Minister and Churchwardens which two
gifts I desire to begin imediately after the death of my
Wife, And for the payment of it, I do bind my Lands in
Plumstead, and Erith, and all the remainder of rent I give
unto St: Thomas his Hospitall in Southwarke for ever
desireing the Honourable and other of the Officers of the
Hospitall to see this my will performed (after the death
of my wife) One thing I did forgett, which is, that the
Seven acrees of Marsh, now in the possession of Mr: Peter
Denham
< no role > , is to pay the Free school in Holborne near St
Andrews Church Four pounds P Annum

Dyed the: 6th: day of November 1697

acceptance of the
trust in Mr. Gossages will


And the Court being informed that the annual
rents of the said Lands amount to Eighteen pounds
and Tenn Shillings And Nyne pounds and Four
Shillings to be Annually paid out by the appointment
of the said Will did accept of the said bequestand trust

Ordered That the Comittee of Governours
of this house now in being be continued a Committee
for one year from henceforth and so to the next
Generall Court after.

Aldermen to be all
Sumoned to Courts


Whereas every Alderman of this City is a Govenor: of every of the
Hospitals of this City and ought of right to have notice of and be perticularly
sumoned to all Courts of the said Hospitals which of late hath been by the
negligence of the Clerks of the said Hospitals omitted It is Ordered by this
Court that all the Aldermen shall be for the Future as formerly sumoned to
every Court to be holdon for every of the said Hospitals And that the Prsidents of
each Hospitals do order that sumons be made by their Officers accordingly
