And after the reading and confirmacon of the Orders &
business of the last Court It was ordered as followeth (vizt.)

The place of Steward of this house being void by the death of Thomas
Whitehill< no role > , The Court Resolved to proceed to Elect another in his place, And
thereupon the Several peticons of Wm. Dent< no role > , John Weld< no role > and Arthur Byfield< no role >
were read each praying to have the said place, And they being put in
nominacon the most of Voices were for the Said John Weld< no role > , To
whom therefore this Court graunted the Same place with the Salary and
usual perquisits To hold dureing the pleasure of this Court.

Also upon the Peticon of Elizabeth Whitehill< no role > the Widow of the
Said deceased Steward, It is ordered That the Quarters Salary
ending at Michas next for the Stewards place Shalbee paid unto her
And likewise the Sum of Five and Twenty Shillings for Fifty
Certificates her husband made for Soldiers Certifying how long they
had been in the house and which they refuse to pay, bee paid unto the
