We the Grand Committee appointed to manage the Affaires
of this Hospital do Report our Proceedings therein since the
General Court held the seventh day of June 1727. to be as
followeth vizt.

Grant to Benjn.
Barlow

We have Agreed with Benjamin Barlow< no role > to grant him a Lease
of Shore House at Hackney and the Grounds thereunto belonging
for 21. Years from Midsumer 1727. At the Yearly rent of £20. Tax free
and to allow him One Years rent toward the repairing the premisses
in a Substantial and Workman like manner And we Agreed to
allow to Jonathan Emmerton< no role > the then Tennt. of the premisses
One Quarters rent in Consideration of this leaving the Possession
thereof at Midsummer 1727.

A Dwelling House
appointed for the
Receiver with the
Customary Allowances

We have Agreed that a Dwelling House be provided for the
Receiver and that he shall enjoy the usual Allowances with
the other Officers of the House and there being a House empty
next door to the Treasurers the same was accordingly appointed
for him and he now Dwellis therein.

Bott

We have Agreed with William Bott< no role > the Younger to grant him
a Lease of three Houses in St. Sepulchres Parish Held by the Execr.
of Ralph Hyde< no role > deceased under two Leases at £6. & £8. P Ann which
will expire at Michas 1728. for 21. Years from the expiration of the
said present Leases at the Yearly rent of £20. Tax free In Consideracon
of a Fine of £120. and of his putting the Premisses into Substantial
repair at his own Charge And the said Bott has paid £100. in Part of the
said Fine.

Saunders

We have Agreed with Richard Saunders< no role > Under tennant of One
of the two Houses at St. Sepulchres lately burnt down Held by
Elizabeth Mills< no role > under a Lease which will expire at Lady day 1741.
to Grant him a Lease of the Ground whereon the said two Houses.
lately stood for 47. Years from the expiration of the said present
Lease at the Old Yearly rent of £20. In Consideration of a Fine of
£500. and of his rebuilding the same in a substantial & Workman like
manner which said Fine hath been paid and the said two Houses
have been rebuilt accordingly.

£6000. South Sea
Annuities Purchasd}


We directed that £6068. 15.Part of the sum of £6120. lately
paid off for the Principal and Interest of £6000. of the £4. P Cent.
Annuities at the Bank which stood in Mr. Treasurers value in
Trust for this Hospital should be invested in South Sea Annuities
to be taken in the Joint names of the President and Mr. Treasurer
which hath been done accordingy and the President and
Treasurer have signed a Declaration of Trust thereof which is
in the hands of the Clerk of this Hospital.

We have Agreed with John Jacob< no role > Esqr . to grant him a Lease
of the Coffee house next the Fountain Tavern at St. Sepulchres
damaged by the late fire there for 21. Years from Michas
next at the Old yearly rent of £6. Tax free In Consideracon
of a Fine of £63. which hath been paid accordingly and of
his putting the said House into substantial repair at his
own Charge And he to procure a Surrender of the present
Lease under which the same is held by Dorset Surby< no role > .

A Special Court & Baron
held for the Mannr.
of Alvethley.


We have held a Special Court Baron for the Mannour
of Alvethley in Essex at the request and Charge of Thomas
Hurdman
< no role > Gentleman for the Admitting of Kezia< no role > his wife
to a Customary Estate there called Ponds of the Yearly
value of £24. who hath been thereto Admitted accordingly
and the said Mr. Hurdman hath paid to this Hospital £63. as
