The Report from the Grand Comittee of their Proceedings Since the
Generall Court held the First of March 1715. was Read as followeth vizt.

Governors of St. Thomas's Hospitall
.
Wee the Grands Comittee Appointed for Managing the Affaires of
this Hospitall Doe Report Our Proceedings therein since the Last Generall
Court Held the First of March 1715. to be as Followeth (Vizt.)
In pursuance of the Reference to Us by the Last Generall Court Wee have
Cause the Roofes of the Wards in the Third Court And also The Roofes of the present
Foule Wards in this Hospitall to be Raised And Wee have under our Consideracon
the Erecting of a Distinct Seperate Building to be made Use of for Foule Wards Which
was Referred to us likewise by the said Last Court But there being Some Short Leases
Standing out of part of the Ground upon which that Building is to be Erected Wee
have not Yet begun the same.
The Apothecary
allowed 2: Pupills.
For the Encouragement of Mr Dickman Our Apothecary And for the Benefit
of the publick by the Experience which may be Gained under him by Young Men
who are Bred up for the Business of an Apothecary Wee have Allowed him to take
Two Pupills and to Continue the same from time to time during the pleasure of
Your Grand Comittee So as they are persons who have before Served Five Yeares or
upwards with an Apothecary.

The said Mr Burgh having made a Fall of Under wood in Our Woods at
Parndon
called Cannous Wood
and Woodhill Wood
And there being many Oaks there
which were proper to be Felled There were accordingly felled in Camous Wood 43.
Trees and in Wood hill Wood 183. Trees In all 226. Whereof Wee Assigned 23.
amongst Our Tennants in Parndon
for Reparis of their Buildings And the
Remiander with the Barke Faggots and Round Wood arising from the Whole Wee
sold to Severall Persons for £145:13s:4d.
