Chappell; And our said Hospitler and Steward haveing proposed and
Agreed, That their respective Successors (if it shall be desired) shall have
an Assignment of their respective Interests in the said Lease and of
the Accomodacons and Conveniencies made as aforesaid to their respective
Houses without any Fine or other Allowance whatsoever. We have
thereupon thought it reasonable and Ordered, That the Charges for
makeing the said Accomodacons and Conveniencies shall be allowed and
paid by the Hospitall.

Wee takeing notice of the Extraordinary Care and Dilligence of
our present Steward for the yeare past, Recomend it to this Court; That
a Gratuity of Ten pounds be allowed to him in respect thereof

Which Report was well liked and Approved of by this Court and the Gratuity of
£10. thereby recommended to be given to our Steward was Ordered to be paid him by Mr Trear
for his extraordinary Care and Diligence for the year past And it was further Ordered That
the said Report be Entred in the Reportory of the proceedings of this Court.

Chosen a Standing Auditor in his place.

Mr. Mitchell Mr. Geering and Mr. Stiles were Chosen to Join with the Four standing Auditors in
Auditing Mr. Trears Accot. for the year ending at Lady Day 1720.

Twelve New Members were chosen upon the Grand Committee Vizt. Mr. Hollis

with the same priviledges
& Advantages But no
Sallary, nor to Ask or
Solicit for any.}

A mocon being made to this Court That Mr. Joseph Tanner< no role > our Assistant Surgeon
may take Care of the patients of this Hospital and Act as a Principal Surgeon
It was upon the Question Resolved and Ordered That the said Mr. Tanner shall
be admitted to Act as a Principal Surgeon in this Hospital in the like manner as this
other Three Principal Surgeons Act with the same Priviledges and Advantages
which they enjoy But under this express provision and Condition That he shall not
be allowed any manner of Sallary from the Hospital or ask or Solicit for the same
untill the Death or Removal of One of the said other Three Surgeons And the said
Mr. Tanner being called in and acquainted therewith readily submitted to the said
Condicon and promised to Observe the same.
